WJEJ's
Mission Statement
More than a half-century
ago, when most radio stations were owned by radio broadcasters instead of
bottom-line investors, The National Association of Broadcasters (N.A.B.) had a
"Code of Good Practices" to which ALL broadcasters adhered. About twenty
years ago, The N.A.B. discontinued the code. WJEJ did NOT!
The ownership and management has determined that the youngest child to the
oldest grandparent should be able to listen to all programming on this radio
station without being embarrassed by what they hear. We make every effort
to continue that tradition that began when the station went on-the-air in 1932.
