The Washington County Master Gardeners will hold a plant sale on Saturday, April 28, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center at 7303 Sharpsburg Pike in Boonsboro. The plant sale will feature over 3,000 plants grown by Master Gardeners, a garden market, silent auction, free gardening tips and a children’s area. The 4th annual Rock the Run 5K will be held on Saturday, April 28th at Fairgrounds Park in Hagerstown. New for 2018 is our twist on this great race: Pirates Vs. Princess! Come as a pirate, come as a princess or just come as yourself. Costumes are encouraged but not required. When you register for Rock the Run 2018 you are helping to raise support for The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission’s kitchen and dining room renovation project.
