Ingredients24 Blue Point Oysters
1/4 Cup of Margarine or Butter
1 1/2 Cups Chopped Spinach
3 T. minced Onion
3/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 t. Salt
A pinch of Nutmeg
24 Slices of Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
1. Open oysters, drain and leave oysters on the deepest half shell.
2. Melt margarine or butter in a sauce pan and add spinach, minced
onions, bread crumbs, salt and nutmeg.
3. Cook ingredients until soft.
4. Spread spinach mixture onto the oysters and place oysters on a sheet
pan that has been covered with rock salt.
5. Bake 5 minutes at 400 degrees, then add the slices of mozzarella
cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
6. Serves 4
