Phillip B. Miller Phil was born and raised in Funkstown, MD and graduated from St. Maria Goretti in 1981. Then he joined the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years. He then had a 20-year career as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist in Washington, DC before finding his way back home to Hagerstown. When Phil isn’t working for the station you can find him fishing somewhere on the Potomac River, listening to his beloved Boston Red Sox or cooking with his mom in her kitchen. Radio Listenership Still Strong Americans are still listening to the radio. 64% of adults polled for the latest American Media Services Radio Index said they listen to the radio at least once a day, and 80% noted that they typically have the radio on while driving. Commercials don't seem to be a huge tune-out factor, with 51% saying they keep their favorite station tuned in through the breaks. - Source: Metro News According to the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB)-Radio reaches 92.8% of all Persons 12+ every week
